911 sc front wheel bearing drift/press part #

Hi guys
What drift part # have you used to install the races? I bought a wheel bearing remove install kit and nothing seems to fit inner and outer races to press in? Help is appreciated. Can’t seem to find “special tools” in Bentley Manuel. Would prefer to do myself with proper tools. Thanks

Freeze the bearing race and heat the hub, the race should drop in. A generic bearing race install assortment should work for any final seating necessary.

You must use 225F+ heat ( torch ) to expand the hub and use drift from any FLAPs rental to pop them out. DO NOT USE DRIFT without heat or you will damage the hub and rip out aluminum with the race.

On installation, after cleaning and inspection use an Oven at 285F, bring hub up to 285F and drop frozen races in.
