i would like to upgrade my 71 911T brakes to 84 Carrera or SC brakes , is this a bolton or are there adapters required ? Any other tips ? Or are there any other brakes that will interchange ? Caliper spacing etc. ?

Just get the complete strut assembly off an SC or Carrera. Should be a quick upgrade and easy replacement. (Strut, rotor,Hub,caliper)

rear is a direct bolt on if you have vented rotors. I put 86` carrera brakes on my 69` and I used the struts and rotors for the front and rotors and calipers for the rear. My car originally had solid rotors.

If you're going to do it, might as well get the larger heat sink/capacity of the Carrera setup (thicker rotors).
Just my opinion. ------------------ Kevin 87 Carrera coupe |

The 914 guys are always looking for the early strut assemblies so getting rid of your old setup should be easy.
