1969 911T Correct location for ballast resistor

Does anyone know the correct location for the placement of the ballast resistor on a 1969 911T? Thank you very much!

If the car has a CDI box it should not have a ballast resistor. In fact, it will really screw up the ignition timing if there is one fitted.

No, this car doesn't have CDI. It has conventional ignition. This is confirmed by a #12 stamped on the electrical relay panel on the left side of the engine bay.

The resister is in the coil, if you have the original coil.
