Hi,

Hopefully someone knows. They do not look like H4's. It looks like the metal reflector inside blocks the top bulb? What arwe they? Thanks.

They're the ridiculously expensive H1s with separate high and low beam
bulbs. Good news for you!

Thanks for the reply. Are you sure? It is as if the metal reflector blocks the top bulb.

I will try to get a picture of the inside.

Now that I look at other H1 lights - yes they are the same.

I will try to find new chrome trim rings? The chrome has some patina on it.

Thanks.

Looks the same as the H1's in my 1971 911T targa. Looking at your photo one can clearly see the words LAMPE H1 stamped the bulb holder/receptacle and those are H1 light bulbs installed. One for high beam and one for low beam. Each individually adjustable.

OK thanks. I see the H1.

What does raised lettering mean?

What would they be worth? They are not NOS, they are in need of a cleaning. the chrome not great.

You can buy special trim rings that you can paint the car color, they fit over the chrome ring and are afixed with a special screw. They look great! Part #: 911-631-141-00-M260

@jamesjedi you should read some of the threads on here about restoration for these units. The reflectors are NOT chromed and they only work well when restored correctly. Not sure what an old set are worth but you can look and see how much $$$ fully restored units bring. The light output is really good and only eclipsed by modern LED lighting.

Thanks for everyone's assistance.

I have been searching.

These are a pair of 010 raised letter lights? What years were they used?

This thread has inspired me to look up the difference between H1, H4, and H5

My ‘85 ROW has H1s. Was this an upgrade or did ROWs come with them?

Probably an upgrade by previous owner, '85 ROW would most likely have come with H4s. I think basically the H1s on ROW cars ended when the H4s became available in the early '70s. Ask John Audette, he'll know for sure.

Thank you to all for this information. I have some reading to do.

The numbers can be seen in the picture. The same number is on both lights.
