Question Emergency Brake light Stays on???

Thanks in advance for your help! I did a search but could not find any information on this topic

Vehicle: 78 911SC

Issue: Changed the front and rear brake pads, now Emergency Brake Light stays on when I lower lever. Rear emergency brake is not engaged. Any ideas on what this could be.
