Clutch problems with 88 930

1988 Porsche 930, short bell G 50 5 speed tranny. Clutch peddle a little over half way down is like stepping on the brake??? At first the clutch would still disengage, but after driving it all day, that has changed for the worst? Any help would be appreciared

Likely a hydraulic issue. If you bleed the system at the slave cylinder, properly, like with a bleeder bottle, the pedal will likely return to normal, for a while. Look for leaks at the master and slave cylinders.
