Angry Stuttering

About 2 days ago my car started hesitating.
Over the days it slowly got worse.
If I step on it I get no smoke from the exahaust.
But just this hesitation that stays about the same through the powerband.
I have fairly new plugs rotor wires.
I have just bought new plugs to start with.
Could it be the oxygen sensor. Also money is tight. I dont mind putting out for the part. But i dont want to go broke guessing.
Anythouts would be appreciated.
!987 carrera Completly stock

Minimize the guessing here by posting year, model and any important engine modifications. Jim

I know you just repaced your plugs, do it again anyway to be safe. If it were my car, I would put in a set of NGK's BP6ES's.

Cheers,

Joe

Check your spark plug connectors, one may have worked itself loose.

Describe the hesitation. Is it missing or flat with lack of power on slow acceleration and gone if you step into it? Does it only happen at specific RPM's? How long since you replaced the O2 sensor? How about having the Air Flow meter?
