Help me identify the plugs /wires of a 3.2 engine harness

I have a used 3.2 engine harness and need to identify some of the plugs/wires/parts, I numbered them in these pics :

I'm in a process of swapping in a 3.2 carrera engine from a 1985 into my 1976 911S, so I'm seeking some help from any one that did that swap before or have some knowledge about it :

1- Is the fuel pump operated by a signal from the PCM or shall I just wire it to a relay through the ignition switch?
2- my car doesnt have a cat, so am I OK to run it without a O2 sensor?
3- Do I need to retain my CIS ignition box?

I will create another thread once I start the swap, so be ready for a ton of other questions there!

Nope, ‘83 and earlier for me, other than the main engine harness.
Not really up on the Motronic stuff, and no real desire.
Too many new connectors to source and some are obsolete.

Really no need as I believe Patrick motor sports has an adapter harness to make it all plug and play in his ‘76

im usually a "go do a search guy" myself. in fact I recently suggested member Geronimo do some searching for answers after a number of very obvious threads that had been covered a million times here he recreated as his own. it got to the point I thought he was a new era pelican employee plant w/o a sticky thread key to drum up the old schoolers to rehash what they'd suggested 100x before. and it worked! he seems to be gone again now though.

I digress, maybe a link to a thread that would help the OP along some would be the holiday season thing to do? or a couple of key phrases that might help a search function? at least kamero seems to be hands on with his photos and questions where the other guy seemed to have his hands only on the keyboard and his,,, oh, never mind.

Here's my try -
12 - cylinder head temp sensor
13 & 14 - the flywheel tooth sensor and reference sensor
6 - 11 kind of looks like the wires from the engine shroud to the relay panel
17 may be the connector you jump out to set the idle - how many pins?
18-20 - grounds
24 - air flow meter
23 - idle control valve
21 - air flow meter
22 - throttle position
2 - high altitude sensor
3 - DME relay
25 - engine sensor (factory diagnostics?)
26 & 27 for connectors 13 & 14 above
4 & 5 - the altitude sensor and DME relay, looks like the shroud for the ECU connector is missing.

Good Luck
Mike

I only looked at this thread as he asked about the engine harness.
Pics are of the Motronic harness.
Happy to provide the engine harness info if needed.
