france, huh?

yes it's possible. Like so many things, it may be undesirable to do it this way, but it is better than doing nothing.

Personally, I can't see how someone could get sufficiently under there to accurately adjust. Perhaps I'm just not skinny enough (OK, OK, I'm definately not skinny enough). It possibly can be done, but it would be miserable.

Good luck,

Vive la france. The intake valves will be hard on your back. Remove stuff like A/C, heater blower, etc. and rest your weight on the rear panel. The exhaust ones are harder with the CAT in the way. Try what JW says about jacking and remeber to drain some oil.

I have adjusted my valves twice and have never felt the need to remove the rear wheels. And certainly not the a/c compressor. All I remove is the air filter cover on the right side and the heater blower pipe on the left side.

Recalling that without France (and the Dutch) there would be no independent United States as we know it and the fact that fewer and fewer people know what "bloody Omaha" means, I am both bemused and saddened by the below quote:

"Going to war without the French is like going deer hunting without your accordian." - Jed Babbin, former Deputy Under Secretary of Defense. Jim

Doesn't anyone remember the Kissinger/Nixon show? The threatened bombing? The Good Cop/Crazy Cop routine? The sheriff in Blazing Saddles (I swear I'll shoot the...)?
