What bolts? I thought there were just a couple of little screws (6x12mm)?

Kyle,
This brings up a great point; someone out there must have a spreadsheet of all the torque specs or a good compilation of one. I would love to keep one in my glove box so I don't have to come and search Pelican every time. Who's the smart cookie?

Kyle, I did not look it up, but discussed it with JW. He agreed that 18 lb/ft sounds correct, assuming Grade 8 bolts. For rotors, Grade 8 sounds appropriate, and that's probably what comes stock. See if there is an 8.8 cast onto the bolt heads.

Superman,
Bolt grades seems to be one of those "Ponderable " things. I believe that 8.8 is a metric designation for high strength bolts and it corresponds to a SAE 5 (3 ticks on head) bolt. A metric 12 is equivalent to a SAE 8 (6 ticks on head) bolt. I can't find the link but somewhere on the web is a great page that explains more than you ever wanted to know about high strength bolts. Anyway, did you resolve your spark saga?

18ft/lb is right. I checked the Bentley manual, it' 17lb.

Standard M8 DIN 8.8 bolts and nuts ... calling for the standard torque of 25 Nm or 18 lb-ft. I guess a rounding error is in effect in Bentley!
