My 911 C3's rear end is currently dismanteled. No engine, transmission, or suspension components on the rear end. I need to get the car on a Flat Bed truck to transport it to a welder that will be fixing my torsion bar tube. My mechanic said that he would mount the bannana arms, torsion bars, and spring plates. He said this would be enough, no shock absorbers and no transmission and half-shafts.
I just wanted to ask if this is fine and will cause no damage on a 1 hour and a half trip on a flat bed.

no shocks isn't be a problem, technically you could drive the car like that. I would think it would be ok without the half shafts and tranny, but someone else will probably verify that.

Only the torsion bars, banana arms, and spring plates are needed. Without an engine the suspension will not be compressing at all anyway.

Sometimes even less than that is needed - don't ask me how I know...
