Site secure
As of today, all of my devices are showing the Pelican Forums as not being secure sites. Don't know what this is about, as they are HTTPS.
Anyone else seeing the same warning?

It just popped up for me. Makes me wary to add an exception. Waiting to see if PP addresses this.

I had the same problem here, I'm using a MacBookpro. The Mac warned me about an expired web certificate and someone trying to impersonate the Pelican forum to steel personal information
I just went to a port up window were my Mac asked me my password for accept that I may be in danger and now the forum is working But I'm still a little bit concern about this whole thing |

Workaround is use Firefox on a mac.
The issue is the site security certificate has expired. Some browsers, like Safari, will automatically prevent you from going to sites with expired tokens. Nothing is wrong (yet). It just means the admins need to sort this out ASAP. My office has an internal site that has an certificate that expired in 2008. It's in our intranet, so it doesnt matter. Was never an issue until a few years ago. That's when some browsers started blocking sites with out current security certificates. The real problem now is that some ISP's also block traffic to sites with expired certs. So Pelican needs to fix it ASAP.

Security Certificate for the site expired 11/17/19, get it fixed!
I just posted in another thread about this. Many users, including those on safari, can no longer get to Pelican threads. Safari will block users and tell them the site is a security risk, may be another site trying to steal their financial data that is impersonating Pelican.
The fix, for now, is use Firefox on a Mac. The challenge is many ISP's and VPN's also block this traffic. So someone at Pelican needs to get the certificate renewed ASAP. I think we would all appreciate updates from them here on this issue. Security Certificate for the site expired 11/17/19, get it fixed!
