The new wheels are HERE!

Finally, after Airborne "losing" 2 of them in transit, they are here. I was looking at 5 spokes but came across this 18" Porsche Challenge set. Last pic is the before pic.

Wow, stunning. I really like the "dish" on the rear wheels. I noticed your car is a '95 model. You should update the steering rack support if it's not done already.

Those look great!! I liked the old ones but after seeing the new ones.......WOW!! Big improvement. That set up makes me want to cross the '73 line.

That is really sharp looking. One dink, though, could you have gone with a wider tire on the rear? IMHO, it looks a bit odd with the wheel sticking our past the tire, not to mention curb rash. Oh, this is a dig on the tires, not the wheels

Thanks guys!!
Yes I have the steering rack support. They are 8x18, and 10x18s with 50ET on front and 50ET on back, which is why I couldn't go with a wider tire than the 285s that are on there. A 55 or greater offset would have worked much better. Not enough clearance I'm afraid. I would have loved to put a 315, or 335, but I dont think it wouldve have cleared the fender edge. The picture does look deceiving though, the tires have a "lip" around the sidewall that helps eliminate curb rash, its just the dish portion is so wide, it makes the tires look narrow. The old wheels will become my new track wheels, the Michelin Sport Cups are on the way.
I do plan on making our first PCA auto X in a couple weeks.

As in wheel balance weights? Yes, they are the sticky type on the inside. DOH! I just realized what you meant.. No I didnt, but I have to pull them off in a day or two so I will weigh them and let you know.
