Window switch correct positions?
When I got my car the power window harness was cut up. I have it all replaced and working now but realized I do not know the correct positions for the two switches on the drivers door.
Pass switch in front, driver switch in rear? or Driver front, pass rear? |
pass in front on mine. 88 911

FWIW, on my '88 Targa, it's driver's switch rear, passenger switch front.

Great, passenger switch in the front. Thats what makes sense to me.
I vaguely remembered something about this in the factory workshop manual. Just looked and was able to find it again... They say passenger switch to the rear?? Odd. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1549392051.jpg |
It makes sense (the german way) that the drivers window switch is closest to the driver. Passenger switch away cause who cares ! Its all about the driver !
That thing above is simply incorrect. Of course, its just two switches so if you got long arms maybe farther away makes more sense to you. |
