Help with Bamberg install

Returning my 77 Turbo Carrera to factory sound.

I have figured out all the hard wires to get:
a) power to the head unit,
b) sound to the speakers,
c) antenna cable and signal to the external FM digital signal converter via the 20 pin connector.
d) remote external fixed station tuner via the other 20 pin connector.

What I have not figured out yet is:
a) how to get the automatic power antenna up/down.
b) how/where to get the internal dial display indicators to illuminate. (The signal strength, stereo, and the 'power on' diodes are working).

Bill I just installed a Bamberg to my 77 Turbo.

There are 3 wires in the antenna (see pic). Black, white and red. Black is ground. Red is to power the antenna. White goes to the back of the radio(switch power).

White wire (switch power) from the antenna should go under the power terminal (see pic)

There is a fuse that is under your dash...left side that allows the antenna to go up and down. That fuse is actually connected to your light switch (for power). Test for power, the red lead on your antenna. If no power then your fuse is blown. Fuse is in a housing.

As far as the indicators in your radio, yours may need replacement.

That white wire must be tucked under the dash somewhere. I'll find it.
The antenna was working with the Alpine I removed 10 years ago, as all I have to do is locate and plug it in.

Where in NJ are you?

Spotswood - Sucess !! - all systems are intact.
I found the errant white lead up under the glove box - then plugged it into the head unit - and, it's alive.
I took a detour on the wiring. I'm hooking it up to a previously installed micro-switch I put in the console 9 years ago. I don't like the idea of the antenna going up/down every time I turn off the radio, or the motor stalls during warm-up on cold days.
I ran a direct line to the fuse panel in the frunk for the power source.

FWIW I found the correct speaker plugs at Becker Auto Sound in Saddle River at $5 ea
They did not have the power plug for 12 V plus the antenna feed. (made my own, as you did)

Next couple of days will be the hard wiring, hiding wires and the FM signal enhancer, and splicing in some in-line fuses.
This year I will have tunes for the drive to Werks Reunion. YESSS.

I had two of these radios, one with the 'record' function (original to the car), and one without.
Now that I have know-how, I'm going to attempt to install the spare into my 912E. That's a project for warmer weather.
