Part # for original front & rear brake calipers 1977 Porsche 911S
Well I think i may have found a set of brake calipers that were hidden in some boxes that I got with the purchase of my 1977 Porsche 911 S. Can anybody share a part number for the front and rear brake calipers?
I would upload some pics but my computer is not recognizing my Samsung phone as a device at all. I do have the following casting numbers that I wrote down from the what I think are front and rear calipers. Front 289 and 281 Rear 73 and 71 Not sure if that helps though. |

If the front calipers are aluminum, then those are the "S" calipers. The rears are cast steel. That is what I took off my '77 turbo.

Not all 77 S cars had aluminum front calipers.
