Vacuum connection behaviour
Can someone help with the vacuum behaviour of the small vac hoses ( to dizzy, decel valve, wur) on a CIS engine?
1. When does vacuum advance start to pull? once the throttle plate starts to open? 2. is the vac advance pull linear with rpms? Meaning should I see an increase in vac when rpms rise? 3. On the vac assisted wurs (with vac cutoff at high load to enrich the AFRs) can this be tested with an engine not in gear so just increasing rpms in neutral or will I not be able to create enough throttle valve movement to come to vac cutoff? 4. AT what rpms should the vac cut-off come in? 4000 rpms and beyond or is this at the 6000 rpms side? All this for a euro spec engine with only vac advance and a 089 WUR. Standard EURO config no O2, no cat. Michel
