Ball Joint-REALLY need suggestions

I'm running out of ideas.

Because of the A Arm, I can't get the dremel to cut all the way through the castellated nut. I've got about 1/4 " to go.

ANY suggestions would be appreciated. I've tried hitting it with a chisel and hammer to try and spread the cut I made but no joy. I'm tearing up the nut pretty good. I just wish I could finish the cut. I have tried to cut it on the ball joint side to avoid the a arm but I can't get the depth I need. I hope this makes sense.

Thanks.

Dave

Hold the dremel at an angle such that you are not cutting fully perpendicular to the threads.

Failing that, drill through that last 1/4 inch.

Chuck,
Thanks....why didn't I think of the drill thing.

Your bearings are going in next weekend. I'll let you know how it turns out.
