May need a new regulator

Hey there everyone. Recently experienced some window trouble. I have an 86 911 and the window regulator motor is getting power but the window is off the window rollers. I’ve taken the door card off and tried to realign everything but the rollers seem to want to sit closer to the inside of the door than the window glass and if I move the regulator the glass pops off the rollers. Am I missing something or do I need to get a new regulator??

Window.

Have a close look at the window guides.

Check for wear.
