Fuel filter and accumulator replacement

Just an update to the current parts to complete this job.
Porsche 911 SC 1979.
Had a hard starting problem when warm, trouble shoot the Accumulator by letting the key stay in the on position for about 10 minutes...car started up.

Ordered new accumulator and new filter from Pelican.

Note the original fuel filter is No Longer Available...so new filter (which I believe began on 1980 and forward cars) is ordered and does not fit. The screw into the filter thread adapters where to large from the original fuel filter.
Back to Pelican and had to order the following:
Screw socket 93911019800 inlet side
Screw Socket 93011019900 outlet side.
Waiting for these parts and will update after they arrive.

Sailkane,

Was the fuel pump running when you turned the ignition switch @ ON position for 10 mins? The FP should not run when you turned the ignition switch to ON unless the air flow switch was detached or disconnected. Keep us posted. Thanks.

Tony
