Newbie to the forum from the Philippines

Hi there! I've been browsing this forum for a couple of months and decided to sign up just last week. Also just found out that it was obligatory to introduce ourselves and our cars.

I've been a Porsche fan for about a decade now and found this forum to be of great help. Plus, the people here seem very generous to help and give advice. I will definitely call on some of you in the near future! In the meantime, Just want to drop a line and say hello!

Cheers,

Jay

This was my first Porsche I acquired exactly 10 years ago, a 1974 911s.

Since then I've slowly been trying to put a modest collection of Porsches.

Wow, looks like two nice cars in the Philippines. I'm hoping to get out that way this summer, is there much good driving out there? I had diving and sightseeing in mind, never occurred to me that there could be car events to visit.

Welcome Kabayan.....

This is the best site you'll ever find for Porsche enthusiasts. It has been a long time since I went home to visit relatives and old friends. I've been told that a good mechanic could come to your house and work all day for less than $15.

FYI: Philippines is probably the only country in the world that allows airline passengers (International flight) to check-in two (2) 70 lbs. luggages excluding hand carried boxes. Speed limits are not observed or followed in the country.

Hi! While roads are much narrower than those in the U.S., driving over here can be fun since we're an archipelago of over seven thousand islands. On long weekends, we go islands hopping..

Next time you're in the area, let us now, we would be glad to take you (or any pelicante for that matter) for a drive!!

Will upload some of the photos of our runs..

Jay

Yes, this is a great place! Let me know if you come down to Cebu; Will introduce you to some of the Porsche guys here. We have a small club called PACE: Performance and Classics Enthusiasts but people thinks its a Porsche club since the cars are predominantly Porsche..

Hope to see you soon!
