1980 sc Weissach eddition?
How does the Weissach edition differ from the normal sc? (in terms of, I'm looking to buy a 911 (my first) and was wondering what's up with this eddition in case I find one)
Thanks. |

Don't remember the number produced but I think they were just loaded SC's with special paint and interior colors. They came in two colors, platinum? and a dark grey I believe. I think the interior only came in a tanish color with red piping. The had a tail/spoiler and I think 16" wheels.
I briefly looked into them before I bought my car but didn't feel they were worth the premium price. There are a couple for sale in my area if you're close to WA state.

Don- Thanks. What are the prices for the ones near you? And, hey, what's the best place (publication) in WA for looking for 911s?

The local PCA classifieds and autotrader are the best places to look. I saw the Weissachs in the autotrader a couple of weeks ago. If I rememer, one was in the high teens (it had been modified) and the other was stock and was in the lower 20K range. Around 24K I think.
