Spark plug recommendations
Hi guys looking for a little advice. I have a 72, 2.4T that was rebuilt with “S” pistons
and cylinders running Weber carbs and I am thinking of a spring tune up. It currently has Bosch WR8DP Platinum Plus plugs looks like there gaped at .035 and I’m thinking of going to NGK plugs. Would the BPR5ES be the correct plugs or are they to hot of a plug. Usage is strictly street use Thanks Mike |

you want to start with cold plug and work your way to a hotter plug.
use copper plugs, nothing fancy. bpr8 or bosch 5 to start perhaps with carbs you may have to go hotter to keep from fouling plugs at idle. getting your carbs set first, then plugs.
