Torque values for 78 SC rod nuts or bolts

Well as best I can tell, one torques OEM SC rod bolts as:

Lube the threads, Torque to #14.751232424 (exactly ). Pause and take a breath then swing 90+-2 deg. Note Bentley has 20 Nm which converts to 14.75#.

Pretty much like the 3.2s 84, and some following years,on with the newer bolts except the 3.2s (and it's 15 Nm vs 20 Nm SC) swing 90 and again 90. Interesting it’s not 180. I see the 8.4 3.2. and some other years, were same as the SC method above with the early 0 stamped rod bolts (of course the service bulletin is only correct one way because 20 Nm /= 14# whew!).

Agh agh ... hope it’s correct, publish or perish they told me. Gee we need to figure this in Ergs or dynes too, Nm and Ft/lbs only ... wimpy LOL
