After a 3.6 conversion....

I suppose the heating system is better since the later model headers are used but what of A/C?

Would I install a later model A/C system on the upated engine. My Euro SC came without A/C, but I would install a later model one since they performed better.

Is the later model A/C the correct system?

I think Jack Olsen is your man on this, I think he had an updated AC system on BB1.

Depends on what you use for heater boxes. The B&B heater boxes on a 3.6L can't hold a candle to SSI's on a 2.7L

On mine, TRE used the Nippondenso compressor that came with the 3.6, and a Performance Aire underbelly condenser in addition to the front fan-cooled one. We eliminated the rear decklid condenser, and added a leather dash from a 964 Turbo. We vented cool air to three places: the center dash vent, a Kuehl vent down above the center console, and an SC-style side vent on the driver's side only.

Jack, I have been eyeing a 76 widebody with a 3.2, but it is a non air car. Are you saying you added the newer style dash with center vents?
