Is it a 911 or just some strange sculpture?

At this point, I'm not really sure. My poor car has seen more lifts that a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon.

I am promised that it will be ready by next week. Right now the shop is working on the final distributor issues. I haven't driven my car since October.

Makes me want to cry seeing her just sitting there up in the air like some monstrous roosting fowl.

Good to see you didn't loose your humor. But I agree it's about time that thing hits the road with a working engine....

Thanks for the kind words folks. Waiting for the car was much easier when it was dark, gloomy and raining.

Now the sun is out, the hills are green and I really need to be driving that car!

It does look great and it will FEEL better once you get behind the wheel and let her loose on the open road!
Good luck/skill and hope you get her fired up soon!

Moses,
I feel your pain. Mine has been in my garage since last October also. The most painful part is that the car is running perfectly, the problem is the snow and salt. Although I did back it into the driveway yesterday and started her up just to listen. My wife yelled to me that I had better not take it out in the salt. God bless her.

Oh yeah. That's the look. After much debating and self-reflection, I'm going with the RSR bumpers and big-A front mount oil cooler on my platinum metallic Targa, too.

Now I'm getting anxious.......maybe I'll start taking her apart this week.

It may seem trivial, but take the time with a dremel to mount your headlight washers in the front bumper and mount some license plate lights like Bill Verberg's in the rear. It really dresses up the installation and makes the bumper look stock.

I also copied Bill Verberg's idea of using some 930 black beading between the bumper and the body. Again, makes the install look stock.
