Stolen 911SC Cab White Seattle, Spokane, Idaho

Car is white with black soft top and white Fuchs. Rear spoiler is falling off, and other imperfections make this car easy to spot.
Stolen on 6/14/19 in CouerDAlane Idaho from the driveway of the 75 year old woman who has owned and driven it since new.
Thieves have now forged and cashed blank checks that were in the glovebox at a check cashing place in the last few days, we were just notified today.
This is not my car, I met this sweet woman over the love of old cars.
If you spot this car, or have seen it call the police first, then pm me and I will respond as quickly as possible.

I don’t think I mentioned that the check cashing places is in Seattle, and the car is believed to being driven by the thieves still.

I don't venture into Seattle too often, but what neighborhood were the checks cashed?

There's another one that looks just like that with Idaho plates too, in n. Seattle/Capital Hill, so be careful who you tag.

Check was cashed at Money Tree in Burien WA 148th st and 116th SW.
Color of top in Black, and corrected now in OP.
The thieves have grandparents in the CouerDAlene area, and the date that Money Tree says tie check was cashed is 6/14/19, same day car was stolen in Idaho.

Will keep an eye out in Seattle. The broken 3rd brake light would be a dead giveaway.

I’d be surprised if they were so foolish as to leave the Idaho plates on the car, but then again they did use their real I.D. to cash the forged check, so....

If the expandafoam and construction adhesive doesn't give it away then I don't know what will.

Yup, what you see is what it is. She purchased this all those years ago as a much more affluent and younger woman.
It got very little attention in the last decade that was not very diy or handyman specials.
Still her car, and it always made me both glad and concerned to see her driving it around town.
The thieves are some of these ‘handymen” that did odd jobs for her, including on the 911.

You seem to know who the thieves are, why aren't they arrested and get the car back?

They are apparently at large on a multi state crime spree with a stolen Porsche. Cashing bad checks and stealing little old ladies cars. If they are dumb enough to use their own ID (Probably stolen locally as well) then they might be dumb enough to be still driving a super identifiable car (doubtful).

You really should post the VIN. There have been cars recovered here before because people found the car and googled the VIN and it led them to this forum and the owner.

There seems to be some confusion, the thieves are known by the police and the car owner. They are not turning themselves in, they are on the run.

If they have a Honda XR400 with them maybe I can help.

But seriously thanks for looking after the elderly lady's interests with this.
