Spacer Q?

What width spacer is needed to get eights under the back on an "early narrow body"? (Going w/Carerra fenders)
Thanks,
Scott

I don't think you need any spacers.

Your question, at least to me, does not make any sense. You use spacers to move a wheel out. With stock Carrera fenders, 8" 911 Fuchs will fit just fine without spacers. Or are you trying to fill up the wheel well and want the tire closer to the edge of the fender? Even then, with 8" wheels I probably would not use spacers as the tires will already be close to the lip of the fender.

Sorry about that.
I don't have the wheels yet, and I don't have the flares, yet (both on the way).
I guess a better way to phase that is: what is the "offset" of a 15x8 verses the "offset" of 15x6's (assuming both are fuchs)? Will I need to use spacers to clear the inside of the wheel well with the eights, if so, what width spacer would I need?

Seems you posted twice. I intially replied to your other post, titled the same.

Here's a great chart that someone posted.

Makes it all crystal clear.

You are not concerned with the offset so much as the backspace which you can see from the chart is the same on 6, 7 and 8's.

Yes,
I was on page two when I posted ,didn't see (because it went to page one....you get it) and anyway, yes, I meant backspace, not offset.
Thanks everyone for the help!
Scott
