Struggling Paint Choice Oak or Moss Green Metallic

I'm drawn to these two color choices for my 74 targa with a tan interior. If anyone cares to share photos their 911's in these colors that would be great. I have viewed the "show me your green machine" thread but it would be nice to see a thread with only these two colors for a direct comparison. Does anyone know when these colors were first released.

My resurrected 74 "Tarpa" , I have the glass. I must say primer is nice no need worry about the island car.

Met moss green

Metallic moss green can look black in the shade, showing green in bright light. My 84 has champagne interior and I like the combination.

Moss green from a few different angles and in different light (the hood of the car is black).

It really is. Saw one at a meet up yesterday. It wasn't an overly cared for car and it still looked good.

Subtle shades of blue/grey, cleverly offset with white. Magnus Walker eat your heart out.

I just checked out both colors you are trying to choose from.... That is going to be a hard decision. They are both very nice and will look good on your 911.

you gotta do a test spray - use a panel off the car if possible (my painter did the sunroof)

take them into the sun, shade, cloudy day (different from shade), etc.

sit & cogitate for a while

then, flip a coin

Thanks big time for the images and advice!

Yeah the paint scheme in the first picture is super easy to maintain, just sand and re-spray from a can . Waxing is not needed.

You can combine the two and go with Mossy Oak.

Macs that is one clean looking SC!

Do you mind sharing where you sourced the rear plate lamps for your bumper delete? My SC is in paint right now contemplating the bumperette delete.
