Name that gas tank
Can anyone tell by looking at these images what series 911 this tank fits? I can't find a part number on it. Is there a way to tell? Thank you.

The fuel out and return looks like 77 and later with the front pump

It looks exactly like the one in my 1975 911s

Look closely at the fuel gauge sender for a production date. If it is the original sender to the tank it will give you an approximate date for the tank. Worth a look.

The 1973.5T was the last fuel tank that had enough space for the full size spare tire. Everything after that (1974 on) was for the tire saver spare. The fittings in the rear for flow out and in are the key indicators. My guess is 1974-1975.
