Pirelli P6000 N2 NLA?

In this thread I mentioned the Pirelli P6000 N2 as an option for 15" wheels. I bought a set of five last September in 195/65R15 to replace an 8-year-old set of Bridgestone RE960AS which are NLA in that size. Here's a pic of them mounted on 15x7s on my car.

Not long ago I checked Tire Rack's site to see if they were still available and they're not. A Tire Rack rep told me that Pirelli had discontinued the P6000, not just in 195/65 but in general. Neither the Pirelli US site nor the Pirelli Classic site currently show the P6000. An email to Pirelli USA corporate has gone unanswered.

This struck me as odd, not only given the limited number of replacement tires in that size but also because Porsche Classic had approved them. Does anyone have any insight into why the P6000 was discontinued and, more importantly, whether Pirelli intends to produce a replacement? I can't imagine it was due to lack of demand, since there are so few options in a 15" tire, especially performance-oriented options.

P6000 needed

Purchased a set of 4 about 3 - 4 months ago myself from Discount Tire only to run over something that slashed/ruined my tire.

Similar story -
now I could use a replacement P6000 or equivalent. I wish I had known beforehand..

The CN36 is a really good tire that pirelli is making for these cars. Looks like you’re running a 7” wheel?

I'm hoping to get at least 3-4 years out of these P6000s. I gather you're running a 6" wheel yourself? I'd rather not run 185/70s on a 7" but if that's all that's left for us by the time I'll need a new set of tires, then I suppose I'll have to.

Yes, I run Deep6 on the car. I suspect the 185 may be a stretch, but they also offer a 215 (used on rear on the RS).

here are all the sizes, plus options for other Pirelli classic tires:

Another option could be Avon which also look the part and perform great.
