Fuel Pump Relay

I have what is likely a dumb question, but hopefully someone can help. I need to pull my fuel pump relay to do some testing I need to do, but cannot find the FP Relay! The Shop Manual shows the Fuel Panel in the trunk with the Fuses and Relays.

The Factory only list 3 relays near the main fuses in the trunk: (for my '74 911), the AC Relay, Fog Lamps and Signal Horn. There are blank positions for relays but since my 74 911 came with CIS, I would think there would be a FP Relay from the Factory, right?
The Relays behind the gauges are 1- Vacant, 2 - Heated Windshield, 3 Emergency Flasher and 4 - Seat Belt Warning System.

Also near the engine are Rear Window Heater Relay, 2 - Cold Start Relay, 3 - Relay for Single Stage Heated Rear Window

Thanks!
Larry

No fuel pump relay in your ‘74.They were added as a safety feature in ‘76.

If you need to test without the pump just unplug the 2 wire connector.
Here are the factory wiring diagrams.

Dennis, thanks for the help. I had a set of Flow Diagr that I notated over the years, but I downloaded the set you sent in case I was missing anything. Now that my relay question is clarified, is there a factory fuse for the fuel pump? I have looked at the info (Flow Diagr.) I have and it does not show one, but to me that seems like a bad idea. (like the lack of a relay)

Guess I may need to disconnect the 2 wire connector. Is that the connector that attaches near the top of the FP? It's been so long since I had to work on the FP, I've forgotten how it is connected.

Thx,
Larry

No fuse, always energized with ignition on.
Follow the cable from the pump back. The T2 connector indicated in the schematic is what you need to unplug.

There is a 2 wire connector in the engine bay; drivers side next to the shock tower by the sound pad. My 74 does have a fuse in position # 15 or 16. I will check tomorrow to be sure. John.

Factory wiring diagram shows fuel pump supply wire coming from the top of fuse 12.
Far left side below. (If pic is oriented correctly)
