Tail light housing removal question
I don’t seem to have the dreaded captive nut issue since all 4 screws holding the housing to the car seem to loosen easily and seem to be coming out with each turn of the screwdriver and not just spinning in place
However, I didn’t totally remove them because I have read that there are at least a few regular nuts that one must reach under/behind and hold so as not to lose the nut.... I can’t find any reference to which screw has a normal nut....is it the screw closest to the middle PORSCHE reflector or the one closer to the front of the car and should I look for a real nut on driver and passenger sides? I have even seen someone say they have all captive nuts but unfortunately, these threads are not clear what year car it is Mine is 1983 SC Thanks

My '87 has all captive nuts. I believe all years (at least from the early 1970s) are the same.
