I have often thought about just removing mine. I have not had a passenger in my back set for 20+ years. My nephews are taller than I am now so they don't fit.

The broken plastic covers are ugly, and every 911 I have seen except concours perfect cars have them broken.

Don't think I was able to find anything for the buckle end when I did my car.

Seat belts are a funny animal. Try to find color matched to your interior plastic parts is pretty much impossible for any 1980s cars. To find the part is hard, and it is usually black. Some of them can be painted to match your car.
