911 "intermittent" trunk locking/unlocking problem

Hi folks.

I have a 1978 Porsche 911 SC Targa that has an "intermittent" trunk locking/unlocking problem. By that I mean inserting the ignition key in the T-handle under dash lock may or may not lock/unlock the trunk. I've tried various keys and squirted different lubes in the slot but it's the same story - the key won't turn. After several minutes of frustrated attempts with varying pressures and angles it will suddenly budge and turn to lock or unlock. My solution has been to leave it unlocked which works as a safety answer as long as I have the Targa top on.

I know I have to take the lock apart and change parts, but thought I would ask you guys if you could tell/show me with pics how to disassemble the handlemechanism.

Cheers
Eskild
