A long shot...but what is the widest tyres you can get on the back of a 911SC.
I know 245/50/16’s work ok....but can you get 265/50/16’s with some camber adj? Considering a set of old school wheels which most likely came off a 930. |

forget it the tires are probably 20 years old and you wont be able to get new ones. I have 265/45 on my widebody and they fit no problem. but they are a bit tall for what the car calls for

I think some of the later SC's and early Carrera's have the same rear quarter panels but I'm not sure. Here is a pic of my 1986 Carrera with Group 4 Wheels Campagnolo replicas (7" front, 225/50 & 8" rear 255/50, BF Goodrich G-force sport comp). These are the largest tires I'd feel comfortable with on my car. I'm afraid they'd rub under cornering if they were any larger. The offset of the wheel will make a difference though and the construction of the tire will too. I know some of the older RSR's have a tall tire with a bulging sidewall but a pretty narrow tread width. Looks really cool with the RSR style satin finish Fuchs.

Best to stick w/ 245/45 x16 or 225/50 x15 or 245/40x17, w/ a 3.6 255/40x17 is good as well.
