Be careful of the shipping rates posted on the USPS web site for overseas delivery, particularly to western Europe (Great britain, Ireland, Scotland, etc.)

I've shipped many packages there containing rear targa seals I make for 914s. I quote a price to the buyer for shipping from the web site and then it comes out cheaper, sometimes as much as 30% cheaper. I then have to scramble to refund the excess charges so the buyer doesn't think I'm ripping him off.

The CD's are supposed to arrive today, the shipments 300+ will be packaged up and going out starting then, or that's what I think Wayne said in another thread sometime in the last day or two.

I got my copy this week and it's very good. The information and pictures are great - I'm looking forward to my rebuild.
I do have one question - the oil thermostat can be positioned two ways - there is an upper and lower "slot". Which way does the upper slot face - I think toward the center of the engine??
Great job - Wayne!

Actually the 101 projects was good enough I ordered this just now. I have no clue whether I would actually tackle and engine rebuild or not on my own...painting is one thing cause there is so much opportunity for do-overs. If it sucks, do it over and did lots of panels over. But an engine rebuild...wholy mutha fukka...

All,

I just paged through a friends copy that Wayne autographed and the book is the best 911-engine book I have read. There is a great amount of detail within and the layout and photos are the absolute best!

I am going to buy this book.

When are you going to work on the 964/993 book?

Keith

Put my order in just now, Wayne. Hope I don't need to use it in earnest soon!
Thx,
