BritWrench had one at one point, or at least knew of the whereabouts...

I think Steve Weiner might have one or two, but understandably is guarding them closely.

You know, I think THIS would be a much better oportunity for a co-op agreement ala Waynes idea with the GT flares from a few days ago... If you could produce these in a decent quantity, they'd most certainly sell...

Okay so here's Chris' crazy idea... ...someone tell me why you couldn't get a really high output coil and use a Y harness off each plug on a single distributor to make a twin plug one...

Andial says no way jose- they are working on a company that says 1-2 years before they have them!
btw- Bosch lost the molds to the originals when they were in the moving process

There is probably a difference between the magnetti and the bosch rotors dimensionally. the caps should be interchangeable. We found a magnetti rotor and will report back if it can be converted for use on the bosch shaft

Another shot in the dark here; you might check with the Alfa guys. I restored a '64 TZ (many years back) that I'm fairly certain runs a similar twin plug rotor (although the cap differs due to the number of cylinders). Many of the factory race cars ran twin plug heads; e.g., the GTA's, TZ-1, TZ-2's, etc.

You might give Phil Reilly and Co. a call. (415) 924-9022.

Cheers, Chris

The good news is; you're welcome to it.

The bad news is, what i am pointing to in this pic is a hairline crack. If you want i can ship it out there and you can have a look. If you want it, fine, if not ship it back.

Chris, we two-point-eighters must be naturally nuts - I had the same idea. I can see why a super-dooper coil with a Y-connector wouldn't get the job done. The plugs are in effect shorting, so with two one would likely win and the other loose completely.

My thought was to use a standard dizzy as a trigger for somekind of dual coil setup. Mind you I'm no electrical engineer, but it sure seems a dizzy working with a low-power discharge could provide a signal to trigger a pair of ignition circuits.

Any automotive, EE types care to comment .... ?
