Anyone help me ID this plug on the trans ?

Putting my engine back in, it’s been a while and I can’t remember what plugs in here? It’s the one with the yellow label.

Yep. Reverse switch. Have you got 2 bullet connectors hanging there?

Ah ok - the leads should head towards the cockpit, not the engine right? I didn’t see any in the immediate area hence my question. But I will take another look for something headed towards the front of the car.

Mine has a cover/hood that fits over the switch body to keep water and other stuff out.

Yep I found the wire still in my engine bay. Now have to figure out how to fish it through...

They come from the 14 pin connector in the engine bay.

The reverse wires for the switch come from the engine harness. They run on top of the transmission with the starter wires.
