I would suggest using a local shop or doing it yourself. I had a voltage regulator going out on my 87. The cheap voltage reader in the cigarette lighter saved me. . There was a Bosch reman already on the car. I sourced a core to rebuild instead. There were several corners cut on the reman. Cheap Indian bearings, two thin washers instead of a retainer plate for the front bearing and no washers on the case bolts. I sourced a Valeo regulator and good bearings for the other alternator. Worked like a champ.
