Just throwing this out there....

Whenever i reply to a thread the thread disappears. If i click on the new posts button the thread i replied to is gone. Only way i can find it again is to go to my profile page , statistics, find all posts by pete3799.

What's up with that?

Been like that for a while.

I wasn't getting thread notifications for the past 2 weeks, but this afternoon, an enema must have been delivered to the system, since I received 187 of them in one fell swoop.

They resumed showing up in my mailbox for a while but the forums do not get marked as read when I leave. I have to manually mark them.

^^^ Same here, been going on for months. Also wanted to leave a review on a recent purchase but can no longer find a link.

When uploading pics from my phone or ipad, I cannot select more than 1 picture at the same time.
If I do, it will upload the same picure multiple times.
Had this issue for a while now. a bit annoying.

System seems to be running really slow lately. It will do fine for a while and then slow to a crawl.
If you can't improve this I want all the subscription money I paid to have access to these forums. ;)
Thanks for your help.

Photo orientation

Hi. I’m a frequent poster on the 911 Tech Forum. I’m having issues with my picture attachments rotated 180 degrees to the left consistently. Can I correct this? Happens with my iPhone 10. No problem with Mac or iPad.

The way to fix that, at least for a Mac, is to open the picture in Preview, rotate the image so it's correct, then change the color, even just the tiniest bit, and that locks the pic in the corrected layout. For whatever reason, just changing the layout doesn't save it though I've been doing it so long that it may have been fixed by now.

Thanks! Posting from an iPhone has been the issue for me. My older iPhone wasn’t an issue. It seems to be the latest model

Iphone Photo

On my Mac Pro, I rotated 360 degree or more if it did not look upright and save it.

I also do that for photo in post, save to desk top rotate as require and post it back with "Let Me Fix That For You" :D:):D

The 360 degree spin and re-save is what I've been suggesting to all members that had the sideways or upside down photo issue - seems to resolve it each time.

rokemester 01-23-2020 04:51 PM

I have no problems posting photos from iPad and computers. It’s my iPhone. Any way I can edit photos on my phone? Do other forum members have similar issues?

Security certificates are not up to date. Thats why one can not stay logged in. There is no S after the http (https) in the URL. I log in, type in the S and then bookmark the page. Then I can stay logged in.

..."I wasn't getting thread notifications for the past 2 weeks, but this afternoon, an enema must have been delivered to the system, since I received 187 of them in one fell swoop."

Some of the posts are encouraging.
However, I'm still waiting for the mega-download that's been mentioned above.

In the meantime, most of my communications to thread posts/updates are being done via PM.
