Dennis,

Don't know where you are going in Europe.
Not all countries allow the use of spacers.
(I know for a fact the they are illegal in Belgium. you won't pass tech inspection)

Spacers are needed 32mm front and 21mm rear, so I am looking for the lightest possible. H&R DRM look pretty good for the fronts (dual bolt) and not superheavy with their fancy alloy.

Elephant looks good for the rear, using longer studs and with the relieving of material, again not too heavy.

What changed my mind first of all is at autobahn speeds (car is returning to Europe when I am finished here in Colorado) I want new wheels that are as good as I can get.

Where in Europe?

in Germany you don't get TüV for the 17 on a G, not even for the spacers up front.

20-22- spacers at rear is OK. many use them to make the 7x16 look the stance of 8x16. I had the same combo back in 2012/2013

Location will be the Netherlands, I will double check, but from what I can read is that approved spacers are fine if done properly. Original 930's came with spacers....

That's what I have on my 7x16 rears, and while the look is great the wheel balance changes every time you take the wheels off. This is even after brushing the hubs and wheels clean, so I'm not a big fan.

Setup is mentioned on the CoC.
If it didn’t come from the factory like that, chances are it will not pass inspection.
Not sure if the same rules apply in the Netherlands, worth checking out.

Out of curiosity, do you have a picture of the wheels on the car?

Did they melt down their tooling or something? I was under the impression they've been making batches every 6 years or so.

I was aware they were working on revising the design to improve some performance characteristics without changing the aesthetics. They announced that a year or so ago.

I wonder if that's for new orders. I was just told that they should be getting mine next week.

Iciclehead 09-19-2019 04:48 PM

When i ordered mine a early in the year, they said they were only bringing 3 sets of the black centres into the US this year (in the SC 7"/9" sizes)

Not a high production deal I think....

Supply < Demand.... thread title got my hopes up on the 15" sizes. (very un-Capitalistic of them- simply not wanting to make profit ; ) !)
Plenty of customers for new Fuchs in all different sizes / offsets. I might just go with the 16"...

Rose Passion delivered the new Fuchs to a European customer in a few days, so I think local supply is ok.
