Unhappy 1976 911 targa Belgium police car? NO ABSOLUTELY NOT

Glad this got resolved , now i ca get back to getting it running.

important info to determine :

Belgium police car had type 911/83 Engine with MFI

My 76 911 Targa has type 911/81 Engine with CSI

My 76 911 Targa has Engine SN 6362331

Hold your horses, a LOT of engines were swapped in those days!
They did a lot of kms and were swapped with what they had at hand..

I dont know about such things as that. But right now i need to get it started and out of my garage for a bit.
But it does have the Siren install in the firewall inside and a button to push to activate it. and i did notice 3 ~4-5 mm holes in the body trim beside the exhaust pipe below the rear bumper.

Rear red European fog lamp location is below bumper on drivers side.

I doubt the siren would be located inboard versus outside in fender well

Belgian police targa’s did not have the 3 gills in the targa bar (and i would like to know why not)

Probably because of the blue light mounted on the targa bar

agree......the only wiring leaving the siren goes over to a spring loaded push button mounted under dash. I will try to remember to post a pic for you.

But the car is definitely not 1 of 20.
