Camber when lowering Porsche?
I bought new rims, and was planning to have tires mounted and then lower the car. It appears to me (attached picture) the rear rims (9x16) are 1/2" too wide. My question is when I lower the car (not drastically - trying to get to a better stance with tire just under the wheel well - less gap) will the camber change enough to bring the rim in? Or should I return the 9x16s and buy the 8x16s and move forward? Any thoughts?

9X16 Fuchs fit with room to spare on SC/Carrera rear flares.

Quote:
camber spec in back is -1°+/-10' you can run that or even a tad more negative

as the 9x16 et15 are similar to 8x16 et 11,3 I can give you my references:
my SC is lowered to 63cm (floor to top fender arch) and ist set to camber -1,05 to do the job in case of fully bottomiming in. fender lip slightly rolled. no spacer. tire is 225/50-16 ![]()

Yes, this is what I am hoping to get to! Great stance, I've seen your car on Instagram. Thanks for the measurements and tire size, they are useful as a benchmark.
