Later 6Jx15 Fuchs on early car?

I have a 1972 911 and I purchased later style Fuchs 6Jx15 a couple years ago. The part number is 911.361.020.10. These are later style 15s based on my research. I've searched high and low for clarification but the only answer I found was that it is not the correct wheel. I understand it isn't period correct, but my car is a driver, not a show car.

Will these work on my 1972? And are there any notable differences other than the hub cap cover? I'm looking to get my Fuchs redone but before I do I want to make sure these will work for my car before dropping $1200. Or, is it best to let these go and get the correct wheel for a 72?

They will be fine and function exactly the same as the originals

The only difference is the earlier 911.361.020.00 had a thicker section in the center hub to accommodate the the three prong center cap. They changed in mid '73 for the '74 MY to accommodate the later ring type center cap hence the .10 at the end. .00 wheels are kinda hard to get a hold of since they only made 'em for maybe a couple of years whereas the .10 wheels were manufactured close to four years.
