Clutch Not Releasing
I have a 88 930 turbo and my clutch will not release? This has happened before and the ride on a flat bed car hauler apparently fixed it?
It is now not releasing again! Is there any procedures that I need to know to get it to release? Thanks Rick |

88 930 clutch is not the same as a G50 except they both came with the failure prone rubber hub disc. Theres quite a few things that can cause the clutch not to disengage , one of them being the rubber hub failing and chunks getting jammed in the pressure plate.
If you can get it to realease again drive the car in 2nd gear at a moderate speed and get on and off the gas very abruptly. If the hub is broken there will be a very loud clunking coming from the drive train from accel. to decell Richard |
