Give me some sound (turbo envy!)
My turbo driving Porsche mates are giving me turbo (sound) envy but I just can't stretch the wallet presently for a turbo.
My ROW 3.2 Carerra has a Bursch Steel Cat By-Pass and stock muff. Who has swapped the stock muff for an aftermarket brand that gives an awesome sound? Thanks Mark (Yes, I've read Dicksters threads but he's not using the Bursch Steel Cat By-Pass so I want to compare apples with apples)

Mark, this isn't about exhaust, but one of the best things I did to my Carrera to make it sound better was also free. I drilled the airbox. I experimented by starting small, and increasing the size of the opening. I eventually settled on a slot about 1" x 4" on the vertical surface toward the top of the airbox, before the filter.
I know a lot of people think this is a really dumb idea, but it really does sound better. It gives the car a low rumbling intake sound, especially at large throttle openings at lower revs, that it did not have before. Won't make it sound like a turbo, but it's a start
