Again on Heat Exchangers... need opinions
My Heat Exchangers has been rescued and welded to many times, so my turn for suggestion has arrived.
I'm now running the original HE from 1973 and they actually "live" under my 911 T 2.4 (Stock engine, Euro Model, with Zenith Carbs). The car will never be on track days, just some sipirited drive. Searching here shows that SSIs are the best option (many says that SSIs are a piece of art over standard Dansk ... and I agree!). I was wondering before to buy if... SSI Heat Exchangers will give performance increasing on my stock engine? (is increased flow rate good or bad for carbed engines?) Will I have to increase jetting, emulsion tubes and so on on my carburetors? Also, I really care about keeping the "original look" so SSI muffler is not an option for me because it has steel finish and it's not gray (none *here* can do ceramic coating) So is it better to keep the original Leistriz muffler from 1973 (still in medium good shape and never welded) or buy a new Dansk muffler ? Will a non SSI muffler act as a bottleneck (destroying the supposed performance increase)? I know there are a lot of questions but I really need to clear-up my ideas !! Please help !

SSI are stainless steel reproductions of OEM early exchangers so no performance increase.
If original look is desired then SSI plus OEM muffler is a good choice.
