Rear Spoiler Baffle/ Air Guide 91151203800 and 91151203700
Hello All,
I have a question. I have these two tail/rear spoiler “baffles” that go on the underside of either a Carrera tail or a 930. Initially I thought they were for a Carrera tail. Upon further research it looks like they may be for a turbo tail. Can anyone verify which rear spoiler these are for? I’m going to be selling them and I want to make sure I give accurate information. ![]() ![]() ![]() Thanks so much for any info. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Part number from the tag on the plastic wrapper? If you tell me where it is on the actual part, I can go check my Carrera tail to see if it's the same or not.

The part numbers in the title ( 91151203800 and 91151203700 ) should be the ones stamped into the actual part. I’m not expert. I’ll have to double check when I get home today but I would assume they are the part numbers above. Thanks so much!

Those are for Carrera tails in conjunction with the tighter mesh grilles. 930 tails use the more open mesh without these air guides.

No disrespect Frank but my Turbo Tail appears to have these grills underneath the screen mesh?
Are there two versions of these, one Carrera and one Turbo tail?

It would surprise me if Porsche made two versions but someone here will know definitively?

Anyway, I can't read the numbers on mine as they are covered by the AC condenser. Sorry I couldn't help.

I was talking to a buddy today and he said it wouldn’t be in a 930 due to the intercooler. He said the screens are different as well. He did say something that may explain why I see it in some diagrams with a turbo tail: they would have been used in M470 optioned car. The factory wide bodied Carreras. Makes sense now. |

930 tail on my car although it's not a Turbo (it is a much larger tail to cover the huge hole in the deck lid for an intercooler ) I hated the large mesh screen from the 930 tail and found a set of the baffles like yours and the fine mesh screen from the much smaller Carrera tail. They bolted right in, perfect fit. I hated the 930 large mesh screen as I live in Georgia and the ever present long pine needles kept getting stuck in the mesh and also falling through into the engine compartment. Plus the fine mesh looks 100% better. By the way a real Turbo uses no baffles, that space is wide open for the intercooler. _

I should have more clearly delineated between M491 specific pieces (i.e. the air guides) and turbo / 930 pieces.

Yep it came with my M491. So, are we up to three possible versions? Carrera, Turbo and M-491...

And just to correct something I said earlier... I meant they would fit an M491 optioned car. M470 would be a spoiler delete.

not to steal the thread but has anyone figured a way to introduce cold air into the airbox from outside the engine bay instead of the warm air inside the bay?
