vacuum line- help
can you help me with this vacuum line. one end is connected and the other line (arrow) appears to be coming in front of the engine. tried to look with mirror but cannot locate. looked at some repair manual. belongs to my 79 sc 911. appreciate your help

here on the pp site. click on the pp banner then scroll down the left margin for 911 wiring and vac. diagrams. that little item looks like the aux air valve on the 914. they are unobtainium. sometimes a good cleaning with pb balster will get them going again.
the car might backfire underdeacceleration without the vavle hooked up or inoperable.
